Electronic data transfer
CMIS offers the ability to encrypt, up-link and make record sets
available to the requestors through a secure transmission.

Data importing
CMIS has the ability to import data directly from an electronic
format (usually an EMR) and then export that data, electronically,
to another party.
On-site staffing
CMIS’s trained, flexible staff is available long-term or to cover
for vacations, sick time, and leave of absences. And CMIS provides
the same support for its own health document specialists at client facilities
to ensure consistent
coverage of work volume.
Tracking
CMIS completes a tracking log identifying the disposition of patients’ health
documents. This tracking, performed in accordance with clients’ policies
are entered manually or electronically and provide a release history
in accordance with HIPAA regulations. Tracking software is available
to our clients upon request.
