Results of 2006 Facility Survey

Thanks to all of our clients who participated in the annual CMIS Medical Facility Survey. Each year we look forward to fi nding out what you have to say, and we truly appreciate your candor. We are pleased to announce that for the second year in a row you feel that we have increased your level of satisfaction with our services. In 2004, 59 percent of you strongly felt that CMIS provides a valuable service to your facility. The 2006 results show that 71 percent strongly feel that we provide a valuable service.

One area that we still need to work on is how often you hear from us. Eighty-eighty percent of you said that you hear from or see a manager/supervisor on a consistent basis that meets your needs. Obviously we would like to see that percentage go up. As such, expect to hear from the CMIS management team (if you havenʼt already) to fi nd out how often youʼd like to hear from us.

We also found that doing this survey over the holiday season was probably not the best time as we received only a 28 percent response rate. Keeping that in mind, we plan on moving the annual survey to late summer/early fall. In addition, for the next survey we will be sending out a letter with a web site link to take the survey in addition to the e-mail blast. We are hoping this will help encourage more responses so that we can continue to improve our services.
